On the night of November 15, 2020, in heavy seas with winds topping 40 knots, the transmission to our boat Nauti Dogs suffered a catastrophic failure which caused a fire and subsequent flooding of the boat.
Although being lucky to survive, the boat suffered over $100,000 in damages, and insurance is refusing to cover it. The video covers the entire event and really gives you an understanding of what it felt like to be at the mercy of the sea in poor conditions.
